Can I be turned into a Vampire?
No, you can't. There it is, nothing more to it.
Do Vampires have special powers?
Nope. Nothing that any ordinary person wouldn't be able to do. Afterall, we are all human. Nothing special or supernatural or sparkly about us, unless you add glitter into the equation.
Do Vampires turn to dust in the sun?
No, we don't do this either. We might turn into dust in a nuclear bomb was dropped, but so would everyone else. Although some vampires are slightly more sensitive to the sun, it's not a strictly vampiric trait. It's possible for anyone to be more sensitive to UV/light than normal.
What would happen if I showed a crucifix or garlic to a vampire?
Well, the crucifix would have no physical effect, unless you beat said vampire with it. The only effect it may have is an emotional one, depending on previous individual experiences or religion. But that could go for any person you may meet on the streets. And as for the garlic, nothing would happen except the vampire in question considering pasta ideas.
Do Vampires sparkle in the sun/live forever/kill people for blood/have fangs?
No, unless glitter is involved. No, that is physically impossible. No, unless they have psychological issues. And no, not unless they have genetically larger canines or have had dentristry work done to make their teeth like that.
Do Vampires have an ongoing war with Werewolves?
Well, the fictional werewolves you're probably thinking of are nothing but fictional. There are anthro-morph wolf therians, whose theriotype may represent the common image of a were wolf, but they cannot physcially change into that shape, no matter how much they may want to. It is physically impossible. And often you will find therians who are vampires as well. Or are friends with Vampires. No war, unless they've had a personal argument, like everyone does from time to time, no matter if they are vampire, therian or what.
I crave blood, does this make me a Vampire?
There is a possibility, but more often that not, it's a blood fetish. While having a blood fetish isn't 'wrong' as such, please make sure you collect your blood in a safe and hygienic way. Also, it can be a symptom of a dietary deficiency or illness and a doctor should be consulted to rule either of these possibilities out, in case they become worse and more serious.
So what exactly is a Vampire?
A vampire nowadays is nothing more than an ordinary person with an energy deficiency so therefore need to obtain it from an external source. This is where you get the two differences in Vampires. Psi vampires can feed on pure energy (also known as prana or chi), be it ambient energy, elemental energy, tantric energy, etc. Sanguinarians need the energy stored in blood. They obtain this usually by using a sterile blade to cut and collect the blood in some sort of container. NEVER by biting or drinking blood straight out of the wound because of the risks of HIV and all the other things that could be transmitted by doing this. Not to mention infection of the wounds. Donors should be regularly checked by a medical professional for any transmittable diseases.
It is also to be noted that a syringe should NEVER be used unless by a trained and qualified professional. Also, any persons under 18 are advised NOT to be a donor, as they are minors and therefore the person who is using the blood can be legally charged for abuse and assault. Same goes for a Sang Vampire under 18. Until you are legally an adult (over 18) it is better to find other methods of feeding. As the donor could then be legally charged of assault or abuse. So, basically, don't use a donor/be a donor if you are under 18 unless you want to get into serious complications.
